Harvest Area: From Virginia to Labrador, Iceland
& Norway
Seasons: Available year-round. New England's biggest
landings are late winter and early spring. Canada's major inshore
fishery is during the summer. Heavy winter fishing occurs in Iceland
and Norway.
Grade/Pack: Whole fish range is 3-25 lbs.

portions.
Substitutes: Pollock, Whiting, Cusk, Hake, Kingclip
and Elephant fish.
